meet the Dermapen 4.

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles.

These “micro-injuries” do not leave scars. They work by helping to stimulate the skin to repair itself naturally through a process called dermal remodeling. This process starts with inflammation, which stimulates the skin to produce new collagen (the elastic fibers that make skin tight, smooth, and youthful). Collagen levels in the skin decline as we age, and new collagen can be produced when the skin is in repair mode.

The DP4 delivers the ultimate in advanced microneedling and can create an astounding 1,920 puncture channels per second, up to 104% faster than other microneedling devices. This device also has 16 needles, beating its competitors.

The micro-channels created by the Dermapen can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients deeper into the skin, making your skin care more effective. Successfully reduce signs of aging, pigmentation, acne, stretch marks, and so much more, for a healthy glowing complexion.

Microneedling Before and after

pre and post care

pre treatment care

-Avoid active ingredients in your skin care for 3 days prior (ex: retinol, salicylic acid, lactic acid, etc.)

-Be careful in the sun leading up to your treatment since we’re not able to treat over a sunburn.

-Come to your appointment with clean skin (no makeup). We will perform a full cleanse on the area before treatment.

-No cosmetic procedures 2 weeks before (laser, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, etc.)

post treatment care

For best results please follow the recommended skin care regimen outlined by your technician.

  • If your appointment was in the morning/early afternoon you may wash your face that evening with a gentle cleanser. If your appointment was in the evening, wait till the next morning to wash your face.

  • Avoid active ingredients in your skin care (ex: retinol, salicylic acid, lactic acid, etc.). Using gentle cleansers and moisturizers only.

  • No physical exfoliation for at least a week.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure (sun or tanning beds) and self/spray tanning for 3 days.

  • Avoid intensive exercise or perspiring for 24 hours.

  • Avoid hot water, saunas, and chlorine until the redness has faded.

  • No other cosmetic treatments for at least a week.

  • Please remember that purging is very normal with microneedling. Blemishes and pigment will work its way up and out of your skin over the next few weeks. It’s important to be patient with your skin and the process.
